Help me if you can!!

Hey, so I was using my Pinnacle studio 14 creating a cod4 montage and then a black screen appeared.  I just closed my laptop up because it just seemed like it was frozen there.  The next day I get on Pinnacle and it says there was an unusual error and asked me if I wanted to continue my lats project.  I said yes and  what looked like a new project came up, nothing was done on it.  I went searching for my file and found it eventually.  I noticed it was only 6 bytes but opened it anyways, still a blank project.  I found a new folder that was created that is called the name of my project it contains folders called OBJ and settings and workgroup and a few other batch files.  I tried changing the file type to ".stx" which is the same file type as the projects used for the program but nothing happened.  Is there any way I can recover a older saved file or my most recent one?

I don't know too much about Pinnacle, I'll use something like Sony Vegas to edit but it may just sound like a corrupted save. If you can't find the file then you are out of luck. Pinnacle 14 is fairly new I believe so you are going to get crashes, I rather use Pinnacle Ultimate 12

Okay thanks man, I still have the footage I just need to re-edit it.  Won't take more than a couple of hours.

go to piratebay.org..... use their search function

find file you need... check seeders and comments to confirm working for your OS, then download the torrent

EDIT: And this sounds like pretty hardcore stuff.  Is there just any file I can download rather than a torrent?

they are differnt versions... the top one of the newest, version 10 the bottom is version 9.

read the comments and stuff about each and see which is best for your PC, those were the 2 most popular so i posted them

Okay I just got the full version by patching into the files and using a keygen to to change the code.  Took me like 10 mins no risk.
